Local Attractions
Yarrangobilly Caves & Thermal Pools
- Six caves created from Limestone 440 million years ago. Discover stalagmites & stalactites. Guided & self guided tours available. Enclosed shoes are a must.
- Tickets available from the Yarrangobilly Visitors Centre.
- Thermal Pool is a naturally heated spring up to 27degrees. Main pool overflows into a childrens wading pool. Picnic area, change rooms & toilets are all located adjacent to the pool.
- Access via shorter but steeper walk or along the more gentle Yarrangobilly River walk loop.

Long Plain Rd & Blue Water Holes
- Great area for fishing, hiking, driving, horse riding, brumby watching. Closed from June to October long weekends.
- Can access Tantangra Dam & Currango Homestead.
- Blue Water Holes is a turquoise water hold, great spot to enjoy picnic & have a paddle. Close to Clarke Gorge & Nichol Gorge walking tracks.

T3 Power Station
- T3 is the largest of the Snowy Hydro Power Stations. Completed in 1973, it has 6 generators.
- You are able to drive around the power station & see the size of the pipes but no longer any tours.
- Drive around behind the power station to get to the lookout over Talbingo Dam.

- Boating, swimming in the new swimming area, fishing, water skiing.
Blowering Dam
- Boating, fishing, water skiing.
Jounama Creek
- Fishing, picnic area.
Jounama Pondage
- Fishing from the bank in public areas. No boating, swimming or kayaking.
Selwyn Snowfields
- Family friendly resort, newly built after 2020 bush fires. Operating from 2023 onwards and only 70km from Talbingo.
